Metrolink is a commuter rail system in Southern California consisting of seven lines and 62 stations operating on 534 miles of rail network. The system operates in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties, as well as Oceanside in San Diego County. Their vision is to be Southern California’s preferred transportation system built upon safety, reliability, customer service, leading-edge technology and seamless connectivity.
The purpose of rebranding Metrolink is to increase their connection and interaction with the communities. moving into the future. As they move forward with their new brand identity system, Metrolink brings the concept of exploration, dreaming, and technology. The new logo mark is inspired by the shape of the train wheel, an above view of the railroad switch, and a spider’s web. They represent the overall concept of Metrolink: leading-edge technology, environmental efforts, and seamless connectivity between cities.
